Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of social media in providing the public with information about what is happening in their social surroundings, and about the Covid-19 crisis, and also to know the extent to which it was able to attract the public by providing them with information, focusing on the motives of the public’s exposure to social media, and their evaluation of its role, according to questions and the hypotheses of the study, which were applied to a sample of (400) adult respondents in the United Arab Emirates.
