Abstract

This study aims to identify the social responsibility of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSHARC) and its role in promoting public diplomacy. The study adopts a mixed-method research design, which combines elements of qualitative and quantitative research approaches.  The digital platforms of KSHARC from November 2021 to February 2022 were analyzed. Also, seven university professors from different countries where the Centre offers its help were interviewed. The results showed that KSHARC focuses considerably on the health category compared to other aspects of humanitarian aid. This focus is attributed to the prevalence of epidemic and incurable diseases in developing countries. Of utmost importance was the economic enhancement of the quality of life of the international community members. This included providing food and clothes to the poor around the world, as well as setting up camps to better serve families in need.
