Abstract

The idea of this study arose from the importance of using the technology of graphics and typography elements and their reflection on local electronic press especially newspapers.  This study aimed at exploring the role and development of the electronic news paper in this field. The typography elements used for developing the designs of Sudanese newspapers and its direction. This was a descriptive study that aimed at analyzing the content of the electronic press concerning a specified variable or incident or issue. The study used several methods of analysis questionnaires as means of collecting data for analysis. The study reached several conclusions concerning using interaction for direction, also digital technology, hypertext for updating, and pictures (GiF, JPG) beside photographic elements. There are many recommendations in the study such as training, sessions, strategies, and promoting via the web.
